Mortdelamer are a 3 piece, female fronted alternative/progressive rock band hailing from Wiltshire. The trio have spent the last 3 years relentlessly gigging, recording and perfecting their live performance which has been described by reviewers as 'powerful' and 'wall breaking'. With catchy riffs, soaring guitar solos and huge choruses, they are often told they sound too big to be a 3 piece. In 2010 they independently released their first album 'The Man With Two Heads', which was warmly received by fans. Almost immediately, the 3 began writing and recording again for their next record 'Leech' which was released in early 2011. The Leech EP is described as a more honest, raw and heavier sounding record than it's predecessor. Having just finished their first UK tour in the summer of 2011, the band are currently writing/gigging new material and are due to return to the studio in late October.

Highlights include playing at the Bristol O2 Academy in the regional final of the Surface Unsigned Festival, spending time mastering their records at the incredible Metropolis Studios, playing at the legendary 100 Club in London and completing a UK tour at venues in Swindon, Wantage, Derby, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Plymouth, Penzance, Basingstoke, Staines and Cheltenham.

Influences include Skunk Anansie, Deftones, Oceansize, Karnivool, Muse and Incubus.
